We stopped for water and rubbish at Bradley Green and then moored up for lunch below Atherstone Bottom Lock.  At the first lock when we were ready to go NB No Direction, which moors at Kings Bromley just by the bridge, was coming down.  They took a photo of us in the lock.  Mum was really really pleased because it was the first lock she has been able to do for years because of her knees.  The photo shows that her new knees are working well and her other problems sorted.  It just started to rain as the boat was in the lock.

Mum and Liz were surprised at how quickly we got up the locks although we did meet quite a few boats coming down.  At tea time we moored up near Mancetter and down came the rain.
